Teri M. Maguire, Mediator, Facilitator, is the Director of Portsmouth Mediation. Teri is on The District Court Mediator Panel in Massachusetts and contracts with the courts in New Hampshire. The cases vary from business, family and housing disputes. She has worked for over 25 years in Family Matters, Labor Disputes, Corporate Mediation, and Contract Negotiation.

Teri has been selected to contract with the District Courts in New Hampshire. The State Of New Hampshire has initiated a new District Court Mediation program, Circuit Court program, offering participants an alternative to the courtroom environment. This small claims mediation program is the first of its kind in New Hampshire expanded now to Civil and Landlord tenant mediation.

Teri is a member of The Association of Conflict Resolution Washington DC, The New England Association of Conflict Resolution, Washington State ACR as well as New Hampshire Association of Conflict Resolution and AFCC (the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts) National and belongs to the MA chapter. Teri completed studies with Alhadeff Mediation Services in Seattle Washington, Mediation Works Inc. Executive Mediation Training, Summary Process, Small Claims, and Massachusetts Marital Mediation Advanced training in Boston. Teri has also studied negotiation under the instruction of Erica Fox, professor of negotiation at Harvard and will participate in the negotiation initiative at Harvard, June 2006. Teri is a paralegal and continues to study in the field. She continues mediator mentoring with Rose Hill-Bagley of New Hampshire, Rose Hill Mediation Services Concord New Hampshire.

Teri currently contracts with the State Courts of New Hampshire to mediate cases in the District Courts and remains a volunteer on the District Court Panel in MA. District Court work involves Summary Process, Housing & Eviction (small claims mediation to a maximum value of $10,000.00), Mediation of Parental Rights and Responsibilities, as well as Domestic Disputes. She has been selected to participate and assist in the committee for continuing education in conflict resolution, New Hampshire.

Teri offers Marital Mediation to those who are looking for a peaceful resolution in all aspects of divorce. Teri currently offers post-marital mediation. Post-marital mediation has a focus on divorced couples who need assistance with parenting agreements. Mediation services for clients sharing alternative lifestyles is available as well. Teri has also participated in Labor Dispute Resolution and contract negotiation in aviation. Employment mediation is offered to those who seek a neutral third party to help resolve workplace disputes.
